Teresa Georgallis is a woven textile designer-maker, researcher and educator. Her practice focuses on handmade processes, industrial manufacturing innovations and materials experimentation. Her professional portfolio of work consists of textile-focused fashion projects, multidisciplinary artistic collaborations, leading a design studio, and acting as a Senior Lecturer / Pathway Leader in textiles. Teresa is a practising textile designer working for numerous roles within the industry with core expertise in textile design-make, product developing & sampling, curriculum and workshop design and teaching at various levels. Teresa has worked internationally in universities in the UK and she is the co-founder of Threading Stories a platform that celebrates craft, processes and materials.
